Mesa Verde Country® Wine Fest Art Show Application

Colorado Council on the Arts

Region 9

Staged against the backdrop of the Mesa Verde, the Mesa Verde Country® Food, Wine and Art Festival will feature wine tasting from some of Colorado's finest wineries, including our own local vintners.
MESA VERDE COUNTRY® FOOD, WINE AND ART FESTIVAL

As well as showcasing our beautiful weather, and our magnificent Mesas and Canyons, the Festival also showcases many of the talented artists who call Mesa Verde Country® home and are inspired by the scenic beauty and cultural diversity found in our area. New in 2008, the Festival will also feature food from local and regional producers that are a perfect accompaniment to wine. Cheeses, olive oils, dips and salsas will be offered for tasting and purchase. The menu offered by Rodgers Catering will feature beef, elk, and vegetables all purchased locally in support of our local growers.

A perfect accompaniment to food, wine and art is, of course, music and the Festival will provide great musical entertainment, with local musicians adding unique musical flavor to the food, wine, and art.
