This year's headliner is SoCals High Desert acoustic band, Waiting for Decay (WFD). Turning the heads and ears of thousands of fans across the globe, WFDs style of music branches from soulful ballads to the full scream of metal.
Kicking off the music on Saturday is The New Nervous, a Provo, UT based band, compiled of four members, each of whom brings an unusual musical experience to the group upon which all members draw. Influences range from The Beatles to Deftones, Tool to Mew.
Following The New Nervous is another Utah band, Cory Mon & The Starlight Gospel, who over the past year and a half have quickly become one of the most exciting and talked about Utah valley bands. Fusing multiple styles into their own virtuostic sound, their music can best be described as funky-introspective-roots-folk-rock.
Third in the line-up, all the way from Alaska, is Sunbury fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Russ Perry and leading up to the Zetroc Music Festival headliner will be Official Daisy Rock artists Riveter. Riveter prides themselves on putting on a high-energy, in-your-face rock 'n' roll extravaganza loaded with originals and Riveterized cover songs.
On July 17th, at 8:00 PM, a "MEET THE BANDS PARTY" will be held at Blondies Pub located on Main Street in Cortez. The party will bring together all the bands and people involved with the music festival for a great night of Unplugged Acoustic Sets by three of the bands, Sunbury, The New Nervous and Waiting for Decay. And on Saturday night, July 18th, from 9:00 PM to Midnight, an "After Party" will also be held at Blondies featuring Cory Mon & the Starlight Gospel.
