If you must leave us after a few days, please use this itinerary as a menu to select those activities that best suit your time frame. And...if you don't have a chance to "do it all", please come back and visit us again. Like many of our visitors, we know you will wish you had stayed longer!!

DAY ONE:
- Anasazi Heritage Center
- Dolores Valley/McPhee Lake
- RGS Museum/Galloping Goose
Begin your vacation with a visit to the Anasazi Heritage Center. A short walk to Escalante Pueblo provides an overlook of the Dolores Valley and McPhee Lake, the next stop on your adventure. At McPhee, Colorado's second largest lake, you can fish, boat, hike, or just enjoy the area's beauty. Round out the afternoon by visiting historic Dolores, home of the Rio Grande Southern Museum and the Galloping Goose. For your evenings entertainment, enjoy a chuckwagon meal and western show.

DAY TWO:
- Mesa Verde National Park
Mesa Verde National Park offers a glimpse into the prehistory of Southwest Colorado, with tours of spectacular cliff dwellings and surface sites--you may want to extend your visit here a second day.

DAY THREE:
- San Juan Skyway
The San Juan Skyway will take you on a road trip through the most scenic part of Colorado, through mountain and desert landscape into historic mining towns and present-day resort communities. Along the way, you may want to take a short hike in the mountains or relax in the hot springs.

DAY FOUR:
- Ute Mountain Tribal Park
- Four Corners Monument
- Ute Mountain Casino
For a real adventure, take a full-day tour of the Ute Mountain Tribal Park. Visit rock art and archaeological sites in spectacular rugged backcountry. For a "softer" adventure, spend a half day touring the park and the other half day at the Four Corners Monument. On your return, try your luck at the Ute Mountain Casino.

DAY SIX:
- Hiking/Biking
- Fishing/Boating
- Western Recreation
Spend the day doing your favorite recreational activity: hike or bike our beautiful canyons, fish or raft our lakes and rivers, or experience the Old West with a horseback or stagecoach ride.

DAY SEVEN:
- Trading Posts/Shopping
- Cortez Cultural Center
Wrap up your week shopping in our trading posts and specialty stores, where you may purchase quality items that reflect the culture of the area. Take a culture walk in any of our diverse communities. This evening, visit the Cortez Cultural Center for its museum, Indian Dances and cultural programs.
